I have often come by and offered the trols food/drink when on my lunch this year. I was wondering what the favorites were, and also if/what I could feed the rats. I love the space you have created, it is the nicest place I have found to pull up a strawbale and eat or relax.

Time to get back to playing with the powdered coffee creamer. Before the coffee goes in or after?... decisions, decisions.

Which do you prefer and Why?

Before; Well this gives you this great treat at the end of the coffee experience. a little pinky sized lump of goo that didn't mix from the agitation of the stir stick.

After; If the mug is clear, then you can observe the graceful decent of the devolved creamer before a solid to a liquid. Nature can be so efficient.

One Badass Chinchilla

Already touched base on this w/Bevan, but I thought I'd share with the rest of you.

Saturday afternoon I was just leaving the Reefe, approaching Troll Glade, when I got stopped by a young boy, looked to be about 5-6. He had a question. I got down on one knee (to his level) and said "Yea? What would you like to know?"

"Is that your Chinchilla?" Leave it to a kid to ask a question you have *no* expectation of ever hearing.

"Is that my what?!?"
"Your Chinchilla. Is that *Your* Chinchilla?" he replied and then pointed back over his shoulder. Right at Bevan.
"Oh, noooo" I said, "Have you seen his teeth? Believe me young squire, HE is his very OWN Chinchilla!"

At that point I split the area as fast as could before I broke character. ;-)

Trol Photos

Hi Bevan, my name is Bobby, one of the many photographers the Trols have been so kind to allow to photograph them over the past couple of weeks at the RenFaire.

Anywise I wanted to let you know that I have a bunch of nice shots of you and a couple of the other Trols (not sure of their names) and I want to make these images available to you.

What your group does is absolutely amazing and the images it creates are captivating. I would love to arrange a real photo shoot with you guys some time. I am right here in Laguna so I am not to far away.

Anywise I have created a gallery just for the Trol photos and they are uploading as I type. It will be a bit before the server gets them processed but you will be able to find them at http://www.realdealphotography.smugmug.com/gallery/528262

Some of them are already live and scattered among a ton of other photos from the past 2 weeks at the Renaissance Faire at http://www.yourfairephoto.com If you would like prints of any of these shots you can let me know and I will have them printed and deliver them to you before the Faire ends its season.

Sid the Gnome

Sid the Gnome went to faire. He spent most of the day in the Guild Ghetto getting really drunk in the shade. Around four o'the clock, Sid went through the faire with a couple of hot women to see the shire. He met lots of new friends. He drank more and saw the close up of many women's fruit cups! Before going home, he passed a beautiful woman cathing a siesta near the Pale Moon booth. There he relaxed with her, when someone caught them on film! You can see their photo together in the photo section! Sid wants me to thank that beautiful young woman for the siesta. He said he'll never forget it!

Strange Dream

This was a dream I had a few months back... I only shared it with a few, but at the request of someone who I can't say NO to, I am posting it here.

"I had a strange dream last night. I don't know
what it means.

I was wearing my white dress shirt w/ the
sleeves ripped off and my arms were black. I had
on a pair of shorts w/ no socks and a pair of
all black converse. My legs were also black. I
was running through what seemed like an outdoor
party. There was music, and people, and alot of
mud. I ran what seemed like a million circles,
my shoes and legs covered in mud. I was looking
for something, but I couldn't tell what. I ran
into what looked like a cross between a truck
stop bathroom and a run down old house. When I
got inside I saw a mirror and looked into it. My
face was covered in black, with color lines like
that of a Trol. Not white, but oranges, yellows
and greens. I didn't have the teeth, or the
clothing, but I had the make-up. I ran back
outside to see all the commotion of this party.
People were dressed in many different styles,
from Ren-Faire to Halloween Haunt, from Goth to
normal. I saw a bus pull up and Johnny Knoxville
came out (Probably from all the Movie ads I saw
this weekend w/ him in it.) He recognized me
right away (Cause in my Dream I explained to
someone that we had met a year before in another
dream I had). He asked what was on my face and
begin to smear my make-up. I felt hurt and I got
angry. In my dream I was a Trol, my own
rendition of a Trol, and he messed up my chance,
cause he thought it'd be funny. I ran off angry
and hurt. I began to drink until in my dream I
blacked out. I awoke when I felt something at my feet. I was upright against a tree and unable to
move. I heard Cassie's voice say:

"I know you miss them as much as I do"

And I looked down at my feet to see Bevan,
Jessica, and Knotty crawling around me. Bevan and
Knotty grabbed my legs and began to spread them to make
my body slide against the tree and sink to the floor. Jessica started to wipe my face, then began to apply make up to it. Bevan and
Knotty began to undress me, and I got scared and
tried to fight it. I again heard Cassie's voice:

"It's ok."

Jessica began to put the white make-up on my
face, and I was in different, more Trol
clothing. I stood up to take a look at self, and as I look ahead at the Trols, my alarm went off and I woke up.

I don't know what it means... but it was a
really cool dream.
